Lol…Yep.
We know what we should not do…But we do it anyway.
I’m in the northern hemisphere. Got a few grows under my belt… I enjoy these forums… Happy to contribute anything I’ve learned to help others enjoy their homegrown. I don’t take a lot of pictures or have a lot of time for journaling… although I plan to take more to share now that I seem to have become an active member… I grow mainly organic with a boost of natural ferts… I grow big plants… not into Scrog, sog,… just big mamas with lots of support. My goal is always at least a pound per plant… But happy with 1g/watt. I mainly enjoy sativas. But love cracking new genetics of all sorts.
Right now…
Indoor:

Jack Herer (Auto)
Great to have you here. Lots of growers of all different kinds here. I grow for my wife who is disabled.
Some like you grow a lot, others just grow a plant now and then for fun.
A nice diverse community. Moderators have helped keep it civil and you wont find the bashing of others opinions that you commonly see on other grow forums. We see lots of new growers every day with typical new grower problems. I enjoy helping but I am by no means any kind of expert. Helping though helps me to learn as I research questions I don’t know to find answers. Its like most things in life that the more you learn the less you realize you know. Just when you think you understand something you find there’s another reason that could cause the problem you see. Its fun and this plant is really the only thing I can grow. I am an awful gardener when it comes to anything else.
Lol…Tell that to my tomatoes. Ugh
Kelp. Feed them kelp. Foliage spray.
Will boost your indoor seedlings/veg as well.
I also mix into a compost tea during flowering. Stuff works wonders for transplant shock for all plants too.
I think I have some seaweed extract in the garage. I will start using it.
My Dad was a great gardener. My Nephew too. Skipped me. I’m a mechanic.
Hey @LFllc89 , didn’t mean to hijack your thread. Sometimes conversations can move off topic. Please continue to ask any questions you might have.
Everything you learn adds to the success of the next grow.
no problem at all I don’t mind at all I just read and learn I’m happy to help people network I’m just happy to grow and that everyone in here is so cool and uplifting is really what helps motivate me too shows how this plant brings people together
You may find a few seeds.
This is a hermie flower. Bananas like this are the plants attempt to self pollinate.
You are fine as this tends to happen near the end of the plants life. I have had it happen a few times. Will not effect smoke. But you may find a few seeds. They also may be prone to be hermies. So you may not want to grow them.
In fact that flower pod on the very top right side looks like it has a seed in it.
Also when you said I should grow photo seeds or flowers did you mean like feminized ones ??? Also I grow indoor right now I have a 2x4 Vicodin tent so I green auto flowers because I figured that was best for that size … but open to suggestions also probably after my next few flgrows I’ll update to a 4x4 tent and bigger fan I have a spider farmer 2000 with a 6 inch ac infinity fan…
Also I didn’t know the yield would be so low as on website it said 5-15 oz so I figured at least I would get 4 . Now I see that I could have way more I just was scared to get feminized for first grow … but u still have like 6 autoflower seeds
Autos can produce well. They are not predictable though and you get a runt sometimes.
You should search the forum and see some of them.
Photo period plants are more consistent in the grow pattern. You can let it grow until its the size you want then switch the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 at which point it will go into flowering mode. It will stretch to double in size for about 2 weeks or so then it will make buds.
I will throw an autoflower into the tent if I have an open spot while the photo plats finish. Since the auto doesn’t care about the light schedule it can fill a gap and give a bonus. They have their place. I will post a link to a grow journal from an auto grower.
@LFllc89 if you bought your seeds from ILGM they are feminized. Photoperiod plants need to change lights to 12/12 unlike autos who can grow on 18/6 their entire life
I think he meant photoperiod but just put feminized.
Thats how ILGM labels them in the store. Just plain feminized. .
Here is an example of an autoflower that produced well.
There are several growers here on the forum that do this all the time.
Yes they get a genetic turkey once in a while.
Here is a nice one …
