I have no idea what they mean when they say “only add 1ml per gallon of water”!!! That doesn’t make sense to me, doesn’t that dilute the nutrients too much???
No, they are concentrated and designed to be used this way.

Yup, it means exactly what it says. Mix 1 ml of whatever is in bottle with 1 gallon of water.
What you are maybe missing is that there is usually several bottles that need to mixed together to form a complete fertilizer solution that will sustain a healthy plant.

Sometimes there’s a proper order of mixing as well. Different for all nutrient lines.
