So I harvested these beautiful six girls and I’ve put a lot of months of hard work into them and it’s really paid off they are beautiful I just went in the grow tent where I have them drying, they have been in there for 2 days and the humidity is at 64%. The buds also feel very moist. Like more than they were on the plant. I have all the doors open and the ac on control at 62 degrees. I don’t have a dehumidifier but have one coming in the mail. I’m so worried these are gonna get ruined. Should I be so concerned? Please please tell me what to do. I cut some of the leaves off and put the fans to on circulation and spread them out. I’ll buck them after work tomorrow and hopefully my dehumidifier will be here tomorrow. Any suggestions. Thanks everyone!
IMO you should be ok with that RH/ Temp
60°/60% RH is supposed to be ideal for drying. You’re closer to that than a lot of people ever get. Should work out great for you. Make sure the fans aren’t blowing directly on your girls and you’re gtg.
I have mine drying in a cool basement and struggling to get humidity up to the 50’s. They were cut Sunday and stil have bendy not snappy stems.
Here in the real world things are rarely ideal. As long as it takes around a week to dry it’s fine imo. Some of my zkittlez hit the 12% mark in five days. Some eight or nine. Personally I can’t tell any difference in the quality.
Next time you may want to wet trim before drying… just a thought… they look great so chill be patient the slower the drying process the smoother it’ll be… look for day 6-7 they should be close make sure you have good air circulation not directly on them just moving air around
congrats on a job well done
youre good growmie, i freaked out my 1st harvest bc of the exact same thing
You should be ok, I would spread the ones out that have all the buds and leaves bunches up together and add a circulating fan to move the air around just don’t have it blowing directly on the plants
Yeah , i’m with @OGIncognito the plant that is very full . Might be good to Separate some of the limbs will give you a better air flow Will eliminate any changes of a mold issue. When you hang a whole plant upside down all limbs tend to mat together. Good luck finishing up you should be fine.
Thanks everyone , I feel so much better hearing this from the community. You all are the best
