I am sold on SCROG! My room is 3.5’ x 3.5’. How many plants are recommended?

You’ll need about 2 Sq ft per plant

Thanks Hawkeye!! That makes alot more sense to me than 1 sf. I guess time in veg is a big factor. I’m planning on putting my Scrog about 22" above the top of the pot. Plan on keeping lights 24" from top of leaves. Do you think I should leave them in veg til they get up to the screen? Longer? Veg them til the screen is full?

I believe you’ll want to veg them until at least 50% of the screen is filled up. @yoshi and @hillcrest21678, @Majiktoker What is the appropriate time to veg for in a scrog?

If possible fill the entire scrog net before flowering or Atleast as much of it as you can

So if I read this right scrog height should be 22in above pot but my light is a 300 watt led what height

A 300w LED should be ~24 - 30 inches above the plant canopy.

Here’s a chart for LED lights (Courtesy of @Niala). It’s for equivalent wattage. If your LED light is 300w follow the chart for 300w. The chart is not made for actual or real draw. Also, this is an approximation. With that clarified, here it is :

120W to 180W ~1.5 feet
180W to 300W ~2.0 feet
300W to 600W ~2.5 feet
600W to 1200W ~3.0 feet
1200W to 2000W ~3.5 feet
