What kind of hydro? It looks like P deficiency but we need to find out why.
You in veg? Flower? How many weeks? Whole picture?
I’m sure we could help you narrow it down but we need more info
How about a picture of the whole plant in white light along with a description (and pictures) of your setup. What nutrient line you’re running. What meters you are using to determine PH and TDS. Need a lot more than given so far…
From seed to veg is 3 weeks I wait until the 3rd or 4th modes before I call it vegetation stage so with that being said 5 weeks total from seed
They are in veg five weeks from seed I cut all the infected leaves off the one looks a little droopy and stunned the other one not so bad
My pH meter I got from Amazon standard yellow pH meter
My ppms are around 750
Single bucket with two air stones
I use RO water I thought maybe it was a calcium deficiency but I put that in with my mix I just don’t understand what’s going on
A post was split to a new topic: Help with plant diagnosis
Are you checking ph and ppm daily? What are your swings like?
How often are you doing a res change?
I checked the pH and my ppms daily I use RO water so the pH seems to want to go a little crazy sometimes so I try to keep it in check ppms I checked daily too because my last grow when I was in flower I would give my plants the recommended dose when the water goes down the ppms went up ain’t quite got that figured out either but one thing at a time I guess
Exactly, it’s normal to see these swings as long as they stay safe.
Your ph will continue to rise and so will your ppm.
I would feed at 600ppm let it rise to 800-850 and reset.
Ph 5.7-5.8 let it rise to 6.1-6.2 then reset.
That’s the way I do my pH I don’t do it everyday because I don’t need to but every other day it hits 6.1 so I knock it back down so you’re saying it’s normal for the ppms in the water to go up what’s going on there drinking water but just not taking nutrients
If the PPMs drop it means the plant needs MORE nutrient.
If the PPMs rise the plant needs LESS nutrient.
It’s normal to see some slow upward movement in PPMs but anything over 900 in DWC is too high.
Bucket hydro is problematic in flower. Not surprised you are having issues.
What does your root mass look like and how does it smell?
That PH pen needs to be maintained or it will throw out bad PH numbers. Do you have calibration and storage solution for it? If not; it will not be of any help in your grow.
How much air to each bucket?
How far below net pot is liquid?
What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? If it’s over 72F you are looking for trouble.
FYI straight R/O cannot be measured for PH as there are no solids to conduct. Anything under 100 ppm is unreliable.
Are you using the published grow chart? There is a sequence to mixing you have to follow: silica is always first (you should be running it) followed by cal mag then everything else. A product like Hydroguard may help too.
Based on the leggy appearance of your plants I suspect you need more light. You can lower lights and/or turn them up if equipped with a dimmer.
