Plant Centers Light Green, Why?

Hi, Dave here, I’m growing outdoors in 12 litre smart pots in organic potting mix, watering every day, feeding fish blood & bone every 14 days, last feed was 12 days ago. My plant growing centers all seem light green. Any Idea’s why? What does my girl need? (apart from a real man)…Daddy you’re so cruel, every time I meet a real man you just ‘tear him away’ from me :sob: :sob:
So, any comments or idea’s kind folk’s

New growth takes a day or two to fully darken to the rest of the foliage. At least that’s how
my plants grow. If it’s staying light green then maybe an iron deficiency?

Maybe someone with more experience has more to add and properly ID the issue.

As long as there is no yellowing of the old growth, which would indicate nitrogen deficiency, there is nothing to worry about.
Nice Plant.
She looks as healthy as she could. When is your harvest scheduled on that side of the equator?

I can’t think of a prettier sight. Just started to flower. Maybe 2nd or 3rd day

On a closer look she seems drooping a bit. Maybe too much water maybe too little. Hard to tell. If you water every day to runoff too much. Give her more nitrogen and watch those leaf turn dark

Hi Outdooring, sorry for the late reply. I think about 10 weeks more. I haven’t really tried to grown it before properly. Chucked a couple of them in a pot about 6 years ago (neighbours ripped out her sons 6 inch seedlings and threw them in our bin). I thought “well, they are a weed” and they grew okay with a bit of water. (see main head in profile picture). Autumn is April - May I hope they keep growing and growing. Putting them in 100 litre pots this week, hoping wide open root spaces will take it places. Blackmoon mentioned about 10 weeks growing time left last week, but we are a lot higher up in Auckland, he’s in the South, but my understanding is that the daylight hours play a big part, plus temperature. Does growth volume in flower depend on strain a bit? Mine is mongrel seedlings given free by a mate. height growth rate 17th Jan ranged from 15 - 20mm a day (hit it with the 'Thrive Fish Blood & Bone on 19th (to saturation) and transplanted into 48 litre air pots and growth rate range 20 - 25mm a day, average over last two days.

The new growth looks like it just grew rapidly and will turn darker soon. A good problem to have hehe.
