So that does give some good insight, it makes me wonder how much though is being lost in the process. I know with decarb there is a loss in potency and this appears to apply heat a second time, yet everything I see mentions this is far more potent than the tinctures.
It’s really got my mind running on this one. Cause from what I see you only retain around 8-12% total volume. So if you f’up, that’s a lot of product lost.
Lol, I ask a question about something new and you throw a curveball. Now I am learning QWET. But hey that’s point, get first hand knowledge over an article.
Well so far that concentrates blog was already a nice read still more to go.
But this is what I was looking for with this next batch. Is a solid plan for a method to get the highest potency of all the cannabinoids with little loss. So it would seem the QWET combined with the FECO/RSO might be my method for this harvest.
A press is on my list of things to get. For me though I just need to find a method that works, but first I need flower. Lol when you get 3oz off one plant total, well your options a bit limited for trial and error.
It’s easy washing bud with ice and water for like 15min max. I got a good one for $200 it’s small and portable. I’m not pressing lbs so it works great 4 me… rosineer presso press
Maybe I read something wrong, I was seeing people talk about freezing the bud and the sifting it through various filters by hand. Different process or same?
I just use the freezer, its at 0f and I haven’t had a problem, I just leave my everclear and trim in the freezer for 24 hours, pout the everclear in the bag with the trim, let it sit in the freezer for 5 minutes, pull the bag out and pour through a 90 to 110 micron screen and evaporate most/all of the everclear depending on what you are doing with it.
