Ph question I’m confused

Added ph up to my plant because it was low 5.5 my mixture was 8.86 but tds was only 155. I added about 24 oz of course mixed with water still ph 8.86. Feed the plant and tested about 2 hours later now ph is 5.0 I fed it bloom last night 1 1/2 qrt. Mixed 3 tablespoons to a gallon so I was afraid of over watering it. Been trying to fix a tip burn problem thinking ph has been the enemy. Here is a pic

If you were having a ph issue in your soil your tips would be the least of the problem. You hardly have any nute burn at all. Your PH seems like its all over the place though. 8.86 ph is far too high to be putting into soil. Max would want is 6.8 for any liquid you put in.

I’m not sure what to tell you because your plant looks pretty damn good to me. You want the tips to barely brown. That lets you know it’s uptaking nutrients, and the plant is using them. Only when the burn moves beyond the tips is it a problem.

Late in flower some of the root mass dies in the medium, causing the PH to drop. Did you do a runoff TDS as well?

As late as you are, whatever issues you have become less important than earlier in flower. Your plant looks like it’s maturing nicely and you are entering ‘bud stacking’ time.
