Hopefully I will get a nomination for best usb scope picture from a one eyed photographer, lol. When I played hockey as an adult I was the best one eyed goalie in the league! I was also the only one eyed goalie. I am just gonna have to play with that scope. Move it forwards and backwards to focus while moving left or right. It’s a miracle if it’s in Focus! Oh well, thanks for your kind words. Another fun and cool thing to learn on the ILGM forum. Gots to gets going. It’s grass cutting day (no, not that kind of grass, the 1/2 acre yard. No riding mower. That’s ok because like Forrest Gump, I like cutting the grass. I will have our song for name that tune at 2:00pm. That is about 5 hours from this post. Peace…
What I have figured out patch is you need to hold the scope so it knows what way is up. Best thing to do is try following a straight edge, a pencil or similar will do it. If you rotate the scope in your fingers so the zoom button is pointing away from you and you can rotate the focus wheel with your right thumb. That gets the scope the right way round, you will be able to follow a straight line no problem after that

Thanks for the info! I think I can do a straight line, but I have no clue which direction that line will go. I will rotate it and try it that way. Using your thumb on the silver zoom wheel makes sense. Even though I don’t have a clue yet on getting the pictures that I want, I still like some of the pictures I’ve taken. I have to get a tripod for it. To get the pictures I got yesterday, I taped some cardboard to that mic stand. The things we do. It did not work well at all,lol. But as dman1969 says “You don’t know til you try.” I am like @anon33684698, we put together what we have to make it work! But I think this time I am going to go with the right tool for the job. I have no idea why I thought balancing a pop tart box (that is broken down) filled with pieces of cardboard would ever work anyway.
Have a great day Davyg- don’t be a stranger! Peace…
Good day growers of the ganja!! Another day as we are getting close to week nine on this grow. Did the morning check at lights on, as usual, and the girls look ok. No changes to note. I misted them as usual, with a little bone meal sprinkled around them and stirred into the soil. I put some ground oyster shell in yesterday, trying to make sure they are ok on their calcium and magnesium. Have a great day !! Peace…
Good Sunday everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good day today! I did my morning check on the girls and it looks like my White Widow likes to be closer to the light. I put her on an old bowl that I used to use to catch overflow. I have found that the grates on older, cheaper grills works great to hold your plant up and the bowl can catch water, and the bottom of the pot can get oxygen as well. I misted the soil like always. No changes noted. Coming up will be a compost tea in the next day or two. Peace…
What are some good indica auto flowers strains that has good consistency in the plant genetics as close as the feminize strength ?
Let me see if I can tag someone who may know that @yoshi . @Myfriendis410 @Bulldognuts I am hoping one of you can help with Yoshi’s question, as I am not experienced in this area. His post is above this one. Thank you. Peace…
I don’t grow auto’s so really couldn’t help
@patchman it’s really a a matter of choice when it really comes down to actually choosing right . My question is more towards who have grow out a few and the bud carried its potency for more than 3 months after drying and curing , they just don’t hold up longterm as to some feminized gets better over time in curing , as to some autos as well , but which ones patch you understand , I growers enough of them you would think I know, but just to say , I just cannot mustard up an good answer except Kush , Cheese , Sours I think but which one I’m not sure ?
Yoshi-
Let me do a little digging for you. If you want, you can come to the same website that I will be going to. If you get online just Google “Leafly”
It has just about everything related to marijuana. If you go, scroll down to strains. Lately there has been a toolbar at the bottom with strains on it. In strains there is an option to look at only indica, only hybrid, and there is an option to look at all strains. You can find out a lot of info about each one, read reviews, and that should give you some ideas. Sorry it took me a minute to get back to you. Peace…
@Hellraiser
Yoshi asked me about some good choices for an indica autos grow. He’s trying to find someone who’s grown like both photo and auto. He wants an auto that measures up to the photo version. I don’t know if you’ve done this or not. His post was #529. Could you help him? Thank you sir. Peace…
Haha that’s right Patchy! Use what we’ve got to get the job done and our imaginations too
No idea on that one, never grown an auto.
That’s kinda what I thought. I have no clue who might know. Thank you for getting back to me. Peace…
Me either Brother but if things go well I’m fina grow both!
If you want to grow what I call a big auto. Over 8 oz. My critical purple autos have been the best and most consistent. In the 12 oz and up range. I will only buy that one from growerschoice here in Ca. The monster Bruce Banner was a hit with my friends here. Another 8 oz auto. Make sure to get monster genetics seeds.
My Blue caramels were another good one from Shawman Genetics. Fruit punch from Heavy weight seeds. Big bud from MSNL, Tripple XXL from Lineagegenetics. I did a 6 shooter from fast buds. Mine were on the lighter side, only 6 oz but I know there is a lot more in them. I believe because it came out as twins. I want to do another as that one smelled like grapes There are a lot of good ones to choose from. This is just me. But I have found seedsmans house strains have good genetics. I haven’t really done any from ILGM to say what I think. I know I have had great luck with their photos. @Nicky would know too. My brain is fading. I want to say it is @Capt.Cola that does mainly autos as well. So another great source of info. One thing to know is I am in coco. And for what ever reason. Plants seem to veg longer in that as to soil. Just my observation.
@yoshi-
It took a little while but there are some great suggestions from a very good grower. That should give you some direction to look. I have grown Blueberry autos from ILGM. They haven’t been consistent producer’s, but that is likely due to my inexperience. I will say the effects are great. It takes away all my pain. And gets you in a nice mellow state. Hope that does it. There may be still a few to recommend strains. Hope it helps you. Peace…
