Paint, or not to paint

I built a 7ft height, by 4ft long, by 3ft wide room out of support beams and plywood, and insulated it. Should I paint it, or leave the plywood bare?. It’s housing for some GangsterOG in near future.
Also, should 2 plants be sufficient in 2 five gallon grow bags.

You’ll see a lot of folks running 3 gallon, 5 gallon and 7 gallon pots with great results

Flat white, or glossy white?

Paint it. Ceiling flat.
Actually better reflectivity than glossy.

So walls AND ceiling flat white?

Yes. You’ll be surprised how much light is reflected back down. .
I’ve even got some white sign board on the floor in my room too.
Only cause it’s plastic and any spills wipe up easy.

Yes paint walls and ceiling!

I agree with flat white but you probably want to seal it first or use a flat white sealer.

I, too, would paint it.
Some reflection is better than no reflection.

Speaking on reflection, I reflect on last night, and must say… KEEP GROWING NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAYS, or you’ll run out!!! When that happens, you’ll be smoking the absolute sift you had intended for only edibles. Picking tiny popcorn buddy for a lousy bowl pftttt

Ok rant over…keep growing people… don’t be like Unckle Worm

I have another paint question.
I understand that flat white is the color to paint with. But what if a person had a couple gallons of white enamel laying around. Or semi-gloss?.
Is there a difference pertaining to painting with flat white or enamel when painting a grow room.
If it makes a difference, what is the difference?

The flat white paint will reflect the light in a more even & diffuse manner than more reflective paints.

I like two coats of Kilz latex primer sealer followed by two coats of flat white latex ceiling paint. The ceiling paint is a little thicker than regular. I cut the edges & corners in with a brush & then roll the rest. It might look grey & splotchy until it dries completely, even after two coats of each. But it should dry evenly.
