Overwatered. Again. Replant in better pot or wait?

Argh. Overwatered again. This pot isn’t draining well. I’m in week 2.5 of an 8 week estimated auto grow. Would it be advisable to transplant now or be more patient and let the soil dry out more before rushing to fix the problem…

I would drill some holes on the bottom and sides of the pot, you don’t give much info, you should have at the least 30% perlite mixed with you soil.

Is this week 2.5 from seed or is it 2.5 weeks in flower?

My autos are average 12 to 15 weeks from seed, what kinda pot and size?

You do not want to transplant your just going to have to deal with it. A lot of people just pick up the pot and if it feels light and the dirt is dry then its time to water. I also don’t know about drilling holes in it as well as it might damage the root system you really just need to be patient and use your best judgement. But next time make sure you add perlite to the mix and look at getting fabric pots

If it’s 2.5 weeks from seed, no harm in transplanting, even if it’s an auto.

@Dushin91 The main roots will be in the center of the pot. Little roots will grow toward the water source. When I water I pick a side to water and not the center. For me…this helps establish a wonderful root systemZ
