Over watered Strawberry cush

Hi all,
My plants were only a few weeks from harvest and I waaaay over watered them over the course of a few weeks. Lost a heap of leaves but buds still looking good however the trichomes haven’t changed color when they should have by now. I’ve stopped watering and got back to where I want however over that two week period the plants have grown 2-3 inches and the top 2-3 inches don’t have many trichomes on them.
My question is should I harvest without the trichomes going hazy and brown or leave it another week or two to see if they come around?
I’m not sure if you can over do the flowering period?
Thanks

Make sure lights are on 12/12 …
Also check ph and ppm runoff…
You have early signs of nutrient overload and possibly ph lockout… one or the other or both… :wink:
:v::sunglasses:

PH is very Alkaline about 7.5. What would be the best course of action? Harvest or correct the PH level?

What is your ppm?
I would take them to the end of flower… another 6 or so weeks from what I’m seeing…
I also agree that it’s a good possibility that something is going on with your light schedule…
Plants look like there not sure what to do…
7.5 wont kill them , but you really want to be around 6.0 to 6.5 ph right now while in flower and for the last 4 weeks 5.8 to 6.2 ph …
What kind of media are you using? Soil / coco ?
Should have asked that first , but I thought you were in soil… :wink:
Also ppm’s should be around 1000 to 1250 in soil…
I myself don’t really like to go over 1100 … in soil…

I dont have a PPM tester unfortunately but I’ll add it to my shopping list.
Should I up the acidity of my next water?
Yes growing in soil, light is on a 12/12 schedule. Has been now for about 5-6 weeks. I read strawberry kush takes about 6 weeks to flower
Thought they be ready soonish? Another 4-6 weeks?!
If I harvest now will it all be wasted? Or good enough?
This is only my first grow so this is all pretty new to me.

No… do not harvest… plants still have at least 4 to 6 weeks , if not a little longer…
You need to really make sure that there is no light leaks and that your timers are working correctly…
First and foremost…
Then we can get your ph and ppm worked out…
For now just water for next 2 weeks with a ph of 6.0 and some cal /mag … no nutrients…
Get a ppm meter asap…
:v::sunglasses:

Sorry Cal /mag? Calcium and magnesium?
I’ll get the PPM reader ASAP.
Thanks mate!

Yes , calcium and magnesium …
Don’t know how to share links , but I use cal-magic from general hydroponics… :wink:
:v::sunglasses:

Another thing I forgot to ask is what is your starting water…?
I like a starting water of 0 to 50 ppm and a ph of 6.0 to 6.5 from a ro system… :wink:
Before adding anything…:grin:
Could also be 6.0 to 7.0 …
From your spicket or your ro system…

Sorry got locked out from too many messages as a new guy on this site. I just use my tap water which I leave in a container for 30 days. I’ve purchased a ppm reader and hopefully it will arrive soon.
When I get the calcium / magnesium (I ordered the stuff you recommended :facepunch:t2:) should I just add it to my first water and see how they go?

How long before the lock out wears off do you think?
Cheers :call_me_hand:t2:

Ppm is 127.

That’s pretty low… :thinking:
your in soil right…?
Something is a miss… :frowning::upside_down_face::thinking:
I just scanned your thread again…
What’s your light schedule and do you have any new pics of the girls…
Your main problem before was light schedule , I believe… :wink:
Just looked again at your thread … maybe move them to a 10 /14 light schedule…
I just think that they are slow flowering plants… :thinking::wink:
Also I notice that your girls are yellowing from the bottom up… :thinking:
You might be overwatering… :wink:
:v::sunglasses:

That’s just my starting water.
Yes the light schedule was off! The timer was bumped and coming on for an hour in the middle of the night. So no wonder they were confused :crazy_face:

I’ve been keeping an eye on my watering and currently the watering is correct but I was over watering about 2 weeks ago.
I’ve been pulling the dead leaves off too
