All the new growth is happy and healthy but the stress slowed em down for sure

I was bottle feeding them all
Six of the seven died but one of em is hanging in there
If they would have stayed out of my garden I would have left em alone
But probably good I evicted them cuz then I would have a serious infestation on my hands

The bottle feeding is too real. I can’t say wether I would “eliminate” or bottle feed myself.

It was an easy choice for me
I could never kill something unless it was a direct threat to my family
Now aphids , house flies, and sometimes ants I will kill
Ants only in the presence of aphids though as they have a symbiotic relationship
I have lost a lot of veggies to aphids and since ants harvest the sugars secreted from aphids they are garden destroyers
When ever possible I will try not to hold a living things right to live against it unless I absolutely have to
Drives my wife nuts sometimes
My garden is teaming with different spiders
I wont kill em they serve a purpose and keep bugs outta my garden

I would not judge anyone if they disposed of them on site or if one used kill traps on the critters
They do carry diseases and can be detrimental to household and garden health
This was just my decision
However if I had a serious infestation my resolve may have been different though I believe I would try all avenues to preserve life before destroying it
It was a real test when they started eating my cannabis
As I am basically disabled and my income is reliant on a good crop
But I am happy to help the lil guys along
I was in tears though when I lost the six
I felt terrible that they lost their mom and were defenseless
I am just that way
Many would call me a puss but I don’t care
I have always been this way and love myself for it so it’s all good
Like I said I may have been in a different position if I had an infestation and I would probably had to use lethal means to get rid of them but I would be sad if I had to kill them
It would break my heart
I am glad that I successfully relocated mommy and daddy and I hope the last one in the litter makes it
We are gonna give him to one of my nephews as a pet
We are already drawing up plans for a rad enclosure for him
I hope the lil guy makes it
Thanks for following along @AAA
Sorry for the drawn out reply

I thank you for the drawn out reply, puss!

Just kidding, I’m finding myself laughing as I’m the same way. It’s nature and you have to respect it.

Curious, what have you used against ants? I’m seeing some in our garden, but as I am not noticing any Aphid ranching going on I have not reacted yet.

What’s the lone Rat’s name?

My wife named him Tooie
Short for Ratatouille like the cartoon rat
I use spinosad
When I see a trail of ants I hit em with spinosad kills em on contact but I have also sprinkled diatomaceous earth on them and on the ground
It shreds em to pieces
If you got ants many aphids are close by

Some transplants I did last week
I will update y’all tomorrow too they have grown a lot since these pics were taken
In the planter I got a Blue Dream and Purple Haze
In the grow space is an Agent Orange and a Northern Lights
Since then I have also transplanted a Super Skunk and a Big Bud too
In my Cash Crop mix pack I had an Amnesia Haze , 2 Big Buds , and 2 Chocalope seeds not germinate
ILGM is shipping me new ones but I was bummed out I already had a late start this year and was hoping to have them outside already
Oh well it happens

I also ordered some green lace wings from ARBICO in Arizona to help with aphid control
Have aphids on my artichoke and mint

Here they are going to work
I also have some Stratiolaelaps scimitus which are tiny bugs that kill soil dwelling bugs like fungus gnats and root aphids
I do not have any bugs on my cannabis plants but they are in my veggie garden
Hopefully these bugs keep it that way
Happy growing everyone

Looking good. I like the corrugated panels you used for your raised beds.

Nice work!
