Should I put my plugs of amended soil in the ground now or wait till next spring? Does it make a difference? I have been picking out better spots to plant next spring.
I don’t fully understand what you’re planning on doing, but it sounds like rain and environment would leech nutrients out over time.

I am planning on digging a 2’x3’ deep hole and putting my soil mixture in, I am wondering if I should do it now or next spring before I transplant? This year I planted in old brush piles where they cleared the fence line years ago. Results are just ok, so I want a better plan for next spring. Thanks for your help.
lots of different opinions on that. Dig the holes in fall and add the stuff is what I do. But I still have to loosen it a week before plant day.
