Outdoor growers. Do you use an insecticide and how do you clean buds?

High,
I am still learning so please bear with me. I am an outdoor grower in Michigan. Should I be using an insecticide, fungus kills or anything else on my girls? And any thoughts on what is the best one? I did find a little worm but that’s gone now?
Thanks
Ger

Captain jacks dead bug is a good product to use outside

If you’re seeing inch worms or caterpillars try using Safer Brand caterpillar killer

Or like @Covertgrower said capt. jacks

Both are all natural and safe to use on cannabis. Just make sure you spray in the evening, after sun goes down and isn’t shining directly on your ladies.

I not a fan of insecticides. If there is no major bug issues I leave them be. Same for bud rot. Peroxide in water can be sprayed to help keep bugs at bay and to help prevent bud rot.

For cleaning buds I use 1 cup of peroxide to 5 gallons of water. I dip in the trimmed branch and swish around a little. Works really well.

Thanks. I am a second year outdoor grower. I am a fan of using the ground and letting them go on their own so if no big bug problem I probably will just let them be. I am keeping a close eye on them.
Do you wash your trimmed buds even if you don’t use insecticide? And to dry them just shake excess water off and let them dry?
Thanks for your patience

Keeping a close eye is key.

I wash all my buds indoor and out to get the environmental grime like dust, bug poop, dog hair. The list is too lengthy to write out. It also helps prevent mold. Yes, just shake off the water and hang to dry.

I wash mine at harvest , there’s is a video on YouTubehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7jE7qzfgQs
