Out doors along side hemlock

Hey all . Was wondering if growing in an area that has hemlock also growing would contaminate the smoke. Hemlock is a well known poisonous plant. I worry the roots may cross contaminate. Or am I just paranoid. Tyia

I wouldnt try it. Simply touching the leaf of a poisonous hemlock can cause an irration to some people. You would be taking a big risk and for some bud, that reward wouldn’t be worth your life. No way to kill/remove the hemlock? Possibly use a big fabric pot to keep the roots contained?

I see what @Konflict is saying, it is a good point but I don’t think it’s a problem and I don’t think you really need to worry. I’ve never paid attention but I’m sure I’ve grown next to tons of hemlock trees, they’re wicked common where I live and I’ve never had any problems.
