Looking into buying some to cut my base with to create vap pen. Anyone tried this method or know any trusted companies that sell terpenes? T.i.a

TrueTerpenes. They use terpenes distilled from cannabis, so you get true strain profiles. They also sell terpene isolates.
No need for a separate diluent. You can just use TrueTerpenes to cut it.

Thank you. I’ve been reading where the process might strip alot of flavor away and you add it back/cut with the terpenes to use in vapes

Some people don’t cut the oil with anything. It’s completely up to you to decide how you want to make a cart that’s perfect for YOU. You can even do straight cannabis oil, just definitely decarb first.

Do you go 1:1 ratio or less terpenes
BlackThumbBetty might be referring to another of their products. I’ve had these for a couple of years, so I’m not sure but I think these are concentrates. I used to put it in my vape juice and I would only use 2 drops per 120ml. What I have really is super strong.
I’ll go to their website and take a look. I’m not sure I’ve helped anyone here.

Wow! True Terpines has really stepped up their game since the last time they visited. They now have strain profiled terpines too. Good stuff.
There is a lot of reference material available on their site like mixing calculators and so on.

Don’t want to junk up your other thread so I’ll ask here. Would you suggest decarb before or after extraction to try and save flavor?
And that was the initial plan. Just blend the extract with the terpenes. But I wonder if its strong on the flavor, will that be enough to thin it out for a vape. I have a small cart mod and a full sized vaping (nicotine) mod.

You may be doing something different than I have. I just made a nicotine/CBD vape juice and added a little terpines to it. I used CBD isolate, 70% veg glycerin, 20% PG, and the rest was nicotine and flavoring. I only added a couple of drops of the True Terpine to each 120ml bottle I made. The stuff I have from True Terpines is pretty strong. You can tell how strong it is when you pass the open bottle under your nose and have a whiff.

1)freeze buds/alcohol (24hrs?)
2)combine the two. Shake every 15 min for 1 hour returning to freezer after shake.
3)strain into jar.
Now this is where I’m a little confused.
Do I return it to the freezer, leave out to evaporate, or decarb in oil bath
Just a reminder I’m trying to produce the cleanest and potent extract to turn into vape carts
I’d ask Blackthumbbetty about the details of that process. I’ve not done much of it.
So that was after the shake and strain process? Also, are you buying the carts and filling or using the bigger ecig vape juice mods?
Try using a tank, I just use reg carts.
