I may have found my sweet spot but I wouldn’t say queen status 
I’ve tried a few different but similar SIP variations and I think I like the autopot system best. All of mine have been super simple, using only coco/perlite with and without a protruding wick. I’ve used both the coco mix and hydroton in the wicks… I recommend using fresh or very well cleaned hydroton or none at all. Mine gave me springtails (reused, cleaned but not super cleaned)
