Under the advice to get better lights I purchased 2 2000W LED Full Spectrum lights for $140…I didn’t want to have to drill holes in my home for this but I think I might have to if I want to get better yields. Did I get the right lights???
What brand of lights? My first thought is you could have done better not very usual that I’ve seen 2000w lights for $140 that work well unless you got great deal on used.
@dbrn32 is the lighting guru but at $140 I suspect your lights will fall far short of the spec needed to take your plants through to a decent yield
Would need to know exactly which lights and what size your growing space is to have a good idea. $140 in leds probably not great unless its really small grow space or you got an absolute steal on the lights.
Welcome. Hang on to your receipt and boxes might be something you want to return.
What brand n can u post pics or screen shots? I’m inclined to agree with the general consensus here, two 2000w lights for 140$ seems way to good to be true, but I hope not!
It was asked earlier what size area are you growing in?
I don’t know what"guru" is. Here’s a screenshot
My room is about 12×12 and it’s a spare room with stuff in it, lol
About 12×12. I just posted a screenshot of the product I ordered
Last time I used only my 2 T5 Tubes and even though I didn’t get a huge yield flower the buzz/relief was pretty good!!
Are you trying to fill the entire 12x12 room with plants only using that light?
How many of them? There’s no specs listed, but typically those lights are good for flowering around 6 square feet. A 12x12 is 144 square feet.
no. Buy some HLG or Spider Farmer, one of those will blow that cheap stuff out the water. A little more expensive but worth it.
No no no I just found and posted his specs, I do hlg lights lol I’m just here tryna help lol
I know what you are saying. I bought cheap amazon lights and they performed so-so. you can do everything perfectly, but without that artificial sun, nothing great is going to happen. I think ILGM is still in the HID mode. Too expensive and costly to run. They are impressive when they light up though.
What are you talking about with: ILGM and hid? Please, thanks
