I’m getting ready for next year outside grow ,by planting some Perennials that have some outstanding smells .Germinating Lemon balm, and Mint .They grow like weeds so I have to be selective on my location. Chamomile is going by my deck ,it smells great also.I have Lavender and Echinacea germinating cold stratification ,on wet paper towels in the frig. I will be planting them next week. I hope this will cover up the weed smell . I also purchased some plastic tomatoes to hang from my cola’s LOL .I think this will confuse the nosy little old lady next door. how do you hide your outdoor grow ?
You will enjoy this thread…Oly uses fake peppers and tomatoes…one of my favorite threads.
I like that ,From the street 40ft away ,they will never know what you are growing
That’s exactly right. Here’s what I got.
I don’t use the peppers anymore because the dye drips off the peppers when they get wet. The tomatoes work much better. I use Christmas decoration hooks to hang them on my plants.
I picked up a dozen tomatoes on Amazon , the X-mas hooks are a great idea
Here @pptrsha1, this is the cool thread I told you about!
! hope you don’t mind Monsieur @KoolHandLuke!
@koolhandluke, masking the pot smell (in flower) is a big challenge to me! I have the herbs u listed and more (dill, basil), but they are getting kinda spent, leggy, not very odorific. I have the fake tomatoes as well. But I wish I could find fake green tomatoes. The bright red ones I got from Amazon dont blend in with my unpicked tomatoes which are green, not red.
@Tenga I have Basil,Oregano,Cilantro,Chives, and Parsley seeds .I will be planting in the spring .Just the Perennials are getting planted this year. I know this isn’t going mask the dank weed smell. I just hope to confuse them.
Its frustrating to me cuz I need to be better educated about when and for how long the plants put out a smell. I have Mint, Choc Mint, Basil, Dill, Rosemary and German chamomile as well as flowers and vegetables to shield my weed.
But the majority are spent/done.Now that my cannibis is in transition. . . Im scrambling replanting! Lol I gotta figure out how to synchronize this better!
I’m new at this also . The mint and rosemary had to smell wonderful
The choc mint was really awesome too!
I never heard of cold stratification. Thought u sounded like a master gardener!
@Tenga ROTFLMO I’m learning from you .Now I know I have to time my.flower stage of my camouflage With the flower of my weed . I Believe That’s when they are both the strongest.
Lets be partners (in crime) and help each other.
