Thats awesome! Ive recently plucked some monsters myself. It always makes me feel good seeing those huge leaves because you know the plant is loving life!

Big leaves like that are a good sign of a healthy plant.
I don’t remove them because they don’t take anything away from the plant. They manufacture micro nutrients for overall growth. As the side branches grow just tuck the big leaves under and let them stay.
