Purple panties is indica dominiant but looks and grows like a sativa. Cant wait to see this chick flower. She gets the 45 gallon pot this year. She gonna be huge!!

@W.B.elpaso well those certainly sound like some really great strains I hope you’ll be posting them on @Dforce tread. I’m definitely going to be following along trying to watch his grow some and would enjoy seeing how yours is going too unless you have your own tread? And by the way your plants are looking awesome too, great job my grow bro. Also that auto you grew looks really good. I bet that’s going to be some good smoke.

Good evening Sir hows things going? Been busy here. It’s almost the weekend 
I have all next week off work so I can get the greenhouses up and going as well as the veggie gardens done, hopefully. Also going to take the grandson fishing for the 1st time. That’s going to be interesting. Can’t wait. Weather is supposed to be awesome all week. Also @W.B.elpaso has a thread going, I’m sure he will tag you. He has an awesome setup as well.

So i watched the video you posted and it was obvious that there was no consensus on whether it helped with tricomes or making it more potent to leave it in the dark for any period of time befor harvest…
But…
What he did say and its the reason for why i leave my plants in a 12 to 24 hour dark period befoe harvest , is…
It draws all of the nutrients out of the plant and holds them down in the roots , so its basically like flushing without flushing…
Ive never heard that it makes anything more potent or increased tricomes… 
Its still obvious that nobody really has all of the answers and it dosen’t hurt to do your own experiments and to try different things , who knows what you might find out…

@Dforce well good evening to you my brother. Yeah I bet you getting ready to get them greenhouses going aren’t you. I’m kind of looking forward to it too brother seeing some of them big old monsters in there again. Hey I was watching a video today it actually said silica helped in reducing powdery mildew from happening. Not sure how much there is to it but I’m definitely using it. Have you ever heard anything like that. It was one of them cannabis professors. Laugh out loud. Anyway hope you enjoy your week off working your ass off on your greenhouse and your garden. Maybe a good thing you going to take a little break and take that grandson fishing I’m sure he’s going to enjoy the hell out of that. And you probably will too. I have them in 20’s this year. Try to help keep them smaller. Lol. I will have my GSCX in a 45 outside the greenhouse to do some training on, will see what happens with it. I will also have a couple others outside this year to see how they handle the elements. Will have more set out today. At least that’s the plan lol.

How quickly do the regular seeds show their sex? I got about 40 free regular seeds for strains that look intriguing when I purchased feminized seeds. I’d definitely consider growing some next season but dont have much space and don’t love wasting money, time and resources on potential males. Guess I’d probably need to start them early and indoors too.

You can get sex testing kits from Farmer Freeman. $15 for 1, and $120 for 10. IIRC. You cut a piece of one of the first real leaves, send it to them, and they email you the results.
