The plant in this photo is from a clone and was transplanted to the pot about a week ago. I know the nitrate was too high making the leaves dark and shiny. But I’m not sure what’s causing the leaves to curl in on them selves. Any help would be appreciated thanks
Did you just spray the plants before the pic? They’re really shiny.
Usually heat causes “taco-ing”. What lights, how far away? What temp does your tent run?
No I did not spray the plants. Several days ago when I added the nutrients I accidentally spilled some on the leaves. I did this on a couple plants by mistake and they all have the shininess in the leaves where I spilled the nutrient mix on them. I will not let this happen again. As it has left some sort of a film over the leaves. I’m using advanced nutrients mother earth, perfect balance pH base, voodoo juice, and B52. I’m running a 600w MH but I have it turned back to 400 W on my ballast. The light is positioned roughly 21 inches above the canopy of this plant 25 inches to the soil. Am The light is positioned roughly 21 inches above the canopy of this plant 25 inches to the soil. My 3x4 tent is holding right around 78° and humidity is at 63%.
Also only two or three are starting to taco the rest are perfectly fine. I’m wondering if it’s just because I spilled the nutrients on the leaves
Have you taken a real close look at the affected plants with a loupe or scope?
I do see a few white specs here and there on the leaves. Pests can cause shiny ness and leaves to curl. How “safe” was your clone source.
78f is not that hot, but maybe move the light up if your close visual inspection reveals nothing.

The shiny suggests a nitrogen toxicity. If your temps are in check, the curling can be caused by overwatering
The clones are from my original mother plant. The mother plant which I grew from a feminized seed. The strain is Girl Scout cookie extreme. Here is a picture of them. I will be switching to flower this weekend. They are very healthy plants as far as I can tell with no pest issues. My nutrient mix that I gave them a couple days ago was definitely too hot in nitrogen. So I backed off on the feeding for now.
I’m not sure how or where to fill out a support ticket.

I’m thinking the curling is because of the nutes on the leaves. Nitrogen tox would show up more as burns and if insufficient yellowing of leaves.
