Plant looks close to 8 weeks in flower; this means it’s demands for nutrients tapers off pretty dramatically. If exposed to high salt levels it could easily show some nute burn.
Pretty plant; I like seeing a green canopy all the way through.
I would monitor runoff TDS and PH at this point for every watering. You may be surprised to see runoff numbers pretty high.
Oh I watch my ppm and ph every watering the runoff on these 2 plants are 6.59/1022 and 6.72/995 my other 3 plants are doing fine. There in to week 6 since I switched them to 12/12 here are my other 3 plants
Those are pretty good runoff numbers so good to hear you are staying on top. I think you are fine; but good to get a second look.
I did have to change my qb boards on the one tent I had 5 grows on them and we’re not doing as good as the other lights
If run off is level whid put in say 500ppm in and out 500ppm is the girl happy i meen not hungry?
Hungry I try to keep my runoff at 1200 and the ph 6.5 I grow in soil
So if I put 500ppm in and out 1200ppm its hungry?
Sounds not ok?
no sorry if your runoff is 1200 that is what you want
If i put 500ppm in?
If you have your ppm at 500 adding to your soil and the reading of your ppm is 1200 of your run off than your good to go
Ok was thinking that be level.
If you feed 500 and runoff comes out at 500, she is happy and used all you gave her. If you feed 500 and runoff is 200, she is still hungry. If you feed 500 and runoff comes out at 1000, it means she didn’t use all you fed her and the growing medium has more than enough for the time being. This can all change if your runoff PPM’s keep increasing without a commensurate increase in the feed amount. You could get in a lockout situation and need to flush.
That’s not what I have found when I’m in flower my run off will be between 1200-1400
I might not be understanding the question I have never had my ppm the same going in as what is coming out. I’ll be watering today with my ppm at 870 and my run off will be around 1200. With that being said if my run off stays at 1200 each time I water my plants are eating 870 between each watering
Yes, I believe I said as much in the earlier post. If your runoff is consistent, all is good. Only if it starts increasing while feeding the same amounts would it indicate a possible problem developing. Lol, it is hard to have in and out PPM’s the same, specially in soil. It is a bit easier in Coco as it has no nutrients at all, so technically what you put in should be what comes out. I have an old WW in soil that I just flushed for that very reason as well as a GSC in Coco that was doing the same The GSC was fed yesterday and PPM’s were 884 in and 813 out, technically indicating she is a little hungry, but this is normal after a flush and should increase a bit shortly. So your runoff indicates she could eat a bit more, but if the plant looks good, you are golden
@jetlag has you covered. This is why we monitor the runoff TDS and PH.
I might have accidentally hit the flag button jetlag is helping me and I just misunderstood what he was saying sorry
