The number of plants will depend on what you want and how you grow etc etc.
I often do 4 plants photo or auto in 3 or 5 gallon pots.
However this time I am only growing one. But I will veg longer and train & prune differently.
I have grown 12 clones in a 2x2 area. All were pruned and trained for 2-3 colas with very little secondary branching. Like I said, it all depends.

As many as you want. Like the others said could be 1 large plant or several small plants. Yield potential will be about the same for a 3x3 either way. Is up to the grower to setup and manage the area properly in order to be most successful.

I have 4 in my tent for my 1st grow. I doubt I’ll do more than 2 again.

I have 2 plants in a 2x4 and I decided I need a bigger tent and start some lst on my girls.
