Not sure about lighting

I have 2 white widows and 2 ak-47 5 weeks old, growing indoors in 3x3x7 tent 4 inch ex fan and fresh air intake.3 gal pots with f,f o.f mixed with organic soil and extra perlite.feeding p.h water only p.p.ms above 1900.i started with a 600w viperspectra full spectrum, after 4.5 weeks i replaced it with a 1000w grow light that was given to me.these guy’s are taking off (seeds from ilgm) .was wondering should i have them both going for 1600w and would two different spectums hurt the plants.thank you for any advise.

The viper 600 uses 265 watts at the wall. This is called true watts. So that one is actually a 265 watt light. Does your 1000w have a brand name on it? Look that one up and see what the true watts are. Add those 2 true watts together and it will give you a better idea of what your working with. On the lights that have 2 switches veg and bloom you want to have both switches on for better growth. The different spectrums wont hurt at all.

Try putting them both in and full on. If it’s not burning leaf tips your good to go. If tips start turning brown turn one off.

I don’t believe I have ever seen a Chinese led with much more than 300 watts so call that 500 watts. That is enough watts for a 4x4. I would use both. And many lights have multiplie spectrums within the board so no big deal.

thank you kdawg and skorpion i added the light last night ,im starting to show white tips would that be from the light?

Possibly. Can you raise the lights any?

no maxed out.

Keep a close eye on them if it gets worse try turning 1 light off to see if that stops it. Sometimes plants will adjust to the lights if that’s it. Are any of the leaves getting a taco shape to them length wise? Or tips curling?

no not at all everything else looks good to me to the best of my knowledge. i need to fiqure out how to download a picture.

Tap the blue reply button then on bottom right straight across from the trash can there’s 2 icons click the left one. Select your pic then wait for it to load completely before sending.

If you are maxed out height wise at 5 weeks what is going to happen when they stretch and double in size? I have 3 Ak-47s and a NL on day 19 of flower. They have not doubled yet but have increased 90%. You may want to think about scrog or LST. When I flipped, the tallest was 12" and held down with major LST. How tall are your plants now?
Light tips may be nutrients, light or like @kdawg said an adjustment to the new light. I grow in a 3x3 with 450W. Others do it with a lot more with out CO2. Increasing air intake and flow within the tent can help. You can check them out at An auto, three photos and a clone

Are the white tips just on the tallest plants? Beardless is right good catch. You have a lot of stretch there. When you flip to flower your plants will grow up into your lights.

Ok leave both lights on for now. We’ll chat later and start getting a little lst going on to give you more room to the lights.

I see you have a net already. We’re going to put that to more use later today. When you have time can you get a pic with the lights off and use house lights so we can see the plants better.

Don’t have a coronary. I would have suggested something more drastic if they were not in flower.

The yellow lines at the base of the plant is showing what should be removed. Anything that has not reached at least mid plant height by now can be removed. They will not amount to much more the pillow stuffing. So don’t waste the plant’s energy on them and save what you can. Had they still been in veg I would have said to cut off the top 12-16 inches of the main stem, top the remaining top level ones and remove the ones at the very bottom. An alternative would have been to super crop it plus the other stuff. Since they are flowering I think the best that can be done is level out the canopy and decrease the height by at least 12" Preferably more First bend #1 and tie it in that position. Come back the next day and crank it down a little further. Then do it again a day or two later. You need to do this ASAP before the stems harden any further. Try not to fold or crack the stem. If you do, you just super cropped.
Next time around make sure your light is low enough to reduce the amount of space between the nodes. They simply stretched reaching for the light. When they are stretched out like that, the bud sites are so far apart that they can’t grow into each other (stack) and you end up with a lot of small buds.
To bend it, start on the lower stem of the plant. Roll it between your fingers to loosen it up. Work you way up the main stem doing this. As you move up, see how much give there is in it. Does it feel like you can bend it without breaking it? Keep after it until you think you can safely bent it.
Good luck
