Ok I am an older gent who loves to grow have already harvested some pretty good bud but not using any foods just ocean forest soil and water. I am using 2 4x4x8’ tents with 600w mh lights with ducts running thru them an in duct fan 6’’ running into the attic with a filter on end. My first grow didn’t produce a lot but was good bud the reason I am posting this is I’m interested in starting a commercial grow now that Oklahoma has changed their laws and I know that I am in way over my head I am sprouting some chemdog,green crack, and lsd I got from Ilgm …The DEA pack lol and I am interested in learning more about the nutes and how badly I am doing growing without them lol. I am going to join the lab which will help and look forward to any advice I can get and suggestions for making my grow space more productive.
I’m with you bro i haven’t used any nutes either commenting on here in hopes of learning a thing or two I’ve grown before outside tho and just set up my first indoor tent it’s a smaller one I’ve got a few good tips on what to do i got the big bloom from fox farms since I’m also using ocean forest i know there is some nutes in that soil so when you plant you might want to use like 25% of what the nutrients bottle says to use just so you can monitor any changes in leaf color

Start topping and training your plants. It’ll utilize the light better. And general hydroponics flora trio is a good easy to use nutrient. Get your plant to look like this
Thanks for info I have never tried topping or training a plant used to grow back in the late 70s but just put seeds in dirt and checked on them a couple times a week ‘‘outdoors’’. Do you know if that is covered in the labs cause I’m purchasing the deluxe lab with support just in case lol
Info on topping & fimming are in grow bible. Have you downloaded? There will be tons of info in lab.

I agree with you I have been reading in the forum and ordering nutes and grow gear on amazon for hours now lol
I live in North East Oklahoma isn’t the law change great I’m also 67 and am really having fun with grow lights and low stress training. I’m on my 2nd grow now I have clones in grow room and bag of seed plants in different place it’s amazing what a difference topping and training make. Have you checked into all stuff you have to do to get a license? It takes a bit of $ to apply and get started, a friend paid $3000 to apply and got it now he’s trying to order seeds and get it growing. There are so many dispensaries everywhere you just need to keep prices down. Good luck keep me posted on your grow. Yes the new law change was one of the greatest moments of my life lol…The growers license is $2500 and you have to pay a $500 testing fee to test your bud before selling but I think it will be well worth it in the long run. I am also in North East Ok outside Tulsa and can’t wait to get started after hearing about the green rush for the past few years. Hopefully it will be a “fruitful retirement” lol 
Then looking at around 20k for the building and equipment. But I still think it will be worth it
Once you get setup and start growing I think it will be good, I’m in Vinita. There are about 8 in Pryor and quite a few in Adair and Big Cabin all over this area, one man grows for his 3 kids medical needs so he’s getting ready to start also making edibles and squeezing the juice from plants so quite a business, I wish you luck. I’m not really wanting that much to keep up with but I’m thinking about working part time trimming buds, they pay from $16 to $35 an hour around here I think I’d like it.
Folks here are fantastic! Everyone tries to help everyone else succeed. Of course theres boasting & contests between growers but all in fun. I came here just to ask a question & 2 yrs later im still here learning.
