What works best for me is to take two same size plates and two paper towels. I wet the paper towels with distilled water and wring them out slightly just so they aren’t dripping wet. I lay one towel down and place my seeds a couple inches from each other, then place the other paper towel over and cover up with the other plate. As others suggested a heating pad or any application that gives off heat is fine. I check daily to make sure the paper towels are moist and check temp between 70-75 degrees F works for me. On average they pop within 2-3 days with this method then I transplant into a 4” soil container.
