No sugars. please help

Question from a fellow grower:

I have a super silver haze , toped at the top, it’s about 4,5!!
months under a 250w hps lamp in a 1,5 sqr m space, and 12/12 schedule

Besides the very long life , the plant is busy with a nice green
dense colour , also white hairs are out (for good! ) and the buds are
starting to forming not to say that are getting the right size BUT GUYS
the plant hasn’t any sugars ! fo real . I don’t
know what to do and i’d like to hear something usefull.

How many weeks in flower are you? this is what you need to consider if it is a sativa dominant strain they can be in flower for 10-16 weeks depending on several factors temps boosters light intensity nutrients used the list goes on… What it sounds like to me is you have strong sativa pheno going on and it is doing what it does to most new growers taking it’s sweet ass time ripening don’t panic this is perfectly natural. several things can be done to speed things up but first we need to know more to help you. @garrigan62 if you would be so kind as to post a support ticket for me Will.

I assume by sugars, you are actually referring to the “crystal” like trichomes.

Yes, these take some time to develop, and if I understand you, the plant is only about 4 and half moths old, this is not very old at all. How long has it actually been flowering for? Have you had it on a 12/12 cycle from the moment it started growing?

i had it about 3 weeks on 18/6 cycle and then 12/12,
