Have 0 experience with Cvault. but how quick did your buds dry? from harvest to placing in Cvault?

Sounds like you dried it too much, what RH level are the buds at?

How ever when i grind it up it smells great

Did u use hygro meters in the jars or in the vault. If so what’s the rh while closed up p when u open it. If less than 58% this is the main reason u get little to no return on pressing. When u dry try and get it where u jar it and rh is no lower than 60 if u r pressing it for sure 62 gets ya a hair more return. 2 weeks dry seems to be an awful long time as most of mine r usually done at or before 10 days. I’m thinking that it dried too fast and not got all the conversions done can try and throw a wad of fresh leaves off a plant in the vault and leave it closed for 6 to 8 hrs and see if it pulls moisture on the buds to get the works going again. Watch it all good tho try and get the rh to hang about 62ish in the vault since u have it around there leave it closed to keep the rh in there only check when necessary if low rh so ur not lowering it more opening it. By the way. What kind of press did u end up getting. I’m all about pressing and extracting my stuff here. Hell I press or open blast just about every bit I smoke lol

That is what I was going to mention. Whether it cured in jars, grove bags or a Cvault, I find the smell diminishes. Then, if you break open a bud or grind it, the smell is much more prevalent. Even putting some in a small baggie brings the smell back.

I have a dulytek dm800 about the same as the press u have now. I upgraded to a bit bigger one now tho got the 7ton press now. Huge difference in the way these things work lol. Going from a single gram in press to a half ounce at once if I want is badass. Lol. So how long was the plant in flower before u pulled it for dry and cure. Maybe it just got pulled a tad early is why smells and all r not quite there.

All up it was about 80 days from seed to harvest the buds had 20% amber trichomes and the rest were all cloudy ,you were saying about putting fresh leaves in the cvault to try to put moisture back into the weed what type of leaves coz i dont have any cannabis leaves can i use banana skins or something like that

I usually use orange skins but banana could work if you use a Lil plastic wrap so it’s not touching the buds

Ive put Mandarin skins in there

If ur rh is 65 it’s good. No more so u don’t cause mold mildew or rot. Let it set for a week or 2 at the 65ish and should notice a difference the longer it sets the better it should taste and yes fresh cannabis leaves work well. U can moisten a paper towel and stick it in there for a bit but at 65 should be enough moisture to finish what it needs to do.

Thanks for ya help my weed has more smell now the Mandarin skins have done the trick it has put more moisture back in the buds
