No-Luck, Coast of Maine Stonington Blend

I have been trying to start seedlings in this (Stonington Blend) and i cant get a one to grow.
Is this soil too strong for seedlings?

I’ve always had good beans when using the Stonington blend. How are you germinating? Paper towels or right in the soil? @Mercury50

So the seeds were already germinated when you placed them in soil and never popped? This may happen on rare occasion, but when having no luck at all is usually a contamination issue.

If you didn’t have seeds cracked with at least small tail, it’s probably too cold, too dry, or both.

Seems like the soil is too hot for seedlings… seeds already have enough nutrients inside them to germinate and start off only needing water and a lite soil mix like ff lite warrior

no , they all germinated and popped through the soil but they never grew.
They stayed the same size

Gotcha. If they sprouted and died is usually an environmental issue. Often too much water, but could be anything.
