Put a ph pen off eBay or Amazon, they’re pretty cheap. Ph your water to 6.5 if doing a soil grow, then water your plants till you get runoff coming out of the bottom. Test that runoff and that should be the ph of your root zone area, depending on what the ph of the water you put in was.
Thanks @BondPacker! @Merk, I also have 5 “Auto Defoliating Plants”! I am going to get the PH pen and check it out. The buds look killer on mine they are in there 6th week of flower. They are however small and, All the fan leaves are yellowed and gone. The flowering areas are still green and the pistils are just starting to brown. Lot’s of tricomes. I am thinking next time I will pay a lot more attention to PH and, veg stage fertilizing.
Thank you @BondPacker, good advice, I’m on it.
@bmorgil Keep me/us posted on what your findings are. I’ll do the same.
Went on vacation for a week, had a friend water without nuts (have been using bio bizz growth), came back it looked yellow… she was in pre flower so I switched to BigBud, the problem got worst, leaves are yellowing throughout, others are pale or lime green, now they are coming in tiny and curling in. Also some nut burn on tips.
I’m thinking she needs nitrogen… is it ok to give her a dose of what she was getting during veg (biobizz) to give her a shot of nitrogen? Then back to bigbud? I just don’t know how to get her to bounce back… also flowering super slow, or may have stopped. Anyone have any ideas?
@Kid,I am looking at your grow site. What is the white around the hole of soil? It almost looks like it might be some kind of lime intense covering? I ask because I t looks like something I have around here. Could it be a substance that could alter your PH constantly when it rains? Just a thought.
pH?
This early into flower, it doesn’t seem like a little nitrogen would be a problem. Not sure, though, since you mentioned signs of nute burn.
@yoshi is back and also does outdoor. I had to call someone with more experience on signs and diagnosis.
My first suspect, based on what you said and not knowing as much as I would like, would be lockout due to pH.
“Hang on. Help is on it’s way…” I don’t remember the rest of the song…
I had one that looked like that also. I would cut back on the watering and wait, A small dose of cal-mag 1 tsp per gallon…
@bmorgil, the white stuff is just diatomaceous earth to limit the pests. All of my plants have it around them and its healthy, no problem there. I gave her a little nitrogen through use of biobizz, hoping she bounces back soon…
@kid, over watering will make them look like that
When we have other people take care I of our kids, things do go wrong… And that’s because they think they know more than we do.
But it looks to me he gave her to much water… Here is a pic of over watering.
Will.
