Yes and I also re-use the mix for soil substrate

I mix in a 40 gallon garbage can, then brew with stones for 12 to 24 hrs. I tried 36 hrs once and ya the ph was down to 3.8 and it was no good. Gotta use it while the microbe count is still on the rise. Bioag makes some great addatives for compost tea that are in expensive and work nice. Ful-humix, tm-7 and cycloptus to name a few. A little goes a long way.

Have you ever been to Woodstock? I know it’s somewhere up your way? I want to think they have a museum or something

@Nip i have been near there but never taken the trip specifically to check it out, it’s in bethel NY about 200 miles south east of me

@Nip how big are you digging your holes outdoors ?

About the size of a 5 gallon nursery pot i like to spread it out more than depth , that’s provided you’re soil is good because from my experience rootballs spread more than go deep, it’s okay to go into the dirt, one thing I do is sprinkle some Sevin insecticide granules in the hole , I lost an entire grow to cutworms one summer, it doesn’t hurt your plants and kills any underground pests, I haven’t lost anymore plant’s

I’m not sure if cutworms are grubbs are in you’re soil up there , Different Climate they may not survive , that’s one of the biggest challenges I have is insects

@Nip usually I use redneck raised beds but we are going to try some holes this year and re amend the soil for next year

@ADK_Guerrila You can also select the types of soil you want to put into the soil and mix castings or bat crapp to it , I use Black Gold potting mix it already comes mixed with Earthworm Castings Cost more but definitely use a high quality potting or soil mix
