Newguy2 needing advice on when to switch to 12/12

Help! I started a White Widow and Blueberry at the same time. I thought I made sure they had the same grow time and that i was planting two :potted_plant: that thrive in similar climates. My WW had a little setback during seedling phase but has bounced back. Im using the ILGM feeding schedule and according to it i will enter the flowering stage next week. Im pretty sure my BB is mature enough to flip to a 12/12 light cycle but im not sure if the WW is there yet. Should I go ahead and switch to the 12/12 to prevent re-veg and what would that do to the WW ?

You can flip whenever your ready. Remember they could triple in size so be prepared.

Is it too late to top if i plan to flip tomorrow?

Goal behind topping?

To make sure i dont run out of height in my grow tent if the triple in size. These ar autoflowering so I didn’t think they would out grow the tent.

Well that changes things. Autoflowers flip on their own. You dont have to change light cycles. Do you have little white hairs coming out of the nodes yet?

First pic looks like the start of flower if possible leave it on 18/6 by the way they are looking good

On the Blueberry but not so obvious with the White Widow. It looks like something is trying to start.

Roger that. Keep on growing on! I would just let her go and let her do her thing. It can take up to two weeks to recover and topping might also stunt your growth.

Autoflowering plants do not require a lighting switch as the flower on their own hence the name Autoflower lol the BB looks like she has already started and it looks like WW isnt far behind id keep the 18/6 light cycle and let them do there thing!

Appreciate it. Just to be clear. Don’t switch to 12/12 at all because they are autoflowers?

Correct Photoperiods need light changes from 18/6 to 12/12 as Autoflowering plants run there whole life on 18/6 you can however run autos and photos together and you can run autos on 12/12 once you filp photos but its best to run autos on 18/6 to allow them to grow as much as possible before they decide its time to flower

Your white widow plant may have recessive ruderalis gene and not flower on 18 hours light. The Blueberry is already going into flower indicated by the pistils. If you’re worried about space I would indeed move these to a 12/12 schedule to send the ww to flower as well.

Is this common for autos?

Auto are seeming to be becoming more unstable. To me anyway. I agree can go to 12/12 with little to no effect on the preflower girl. If gonna sit on 12/12 can hittem harder with light to hit daily max. I am a photo/auto mixed tent grower. Once in flower they all act the same.

It happens fairly often. I wouldn’t say 50% of the time but If you type something like “autos not flowering” into search bar i bet there is several results.

I also need advice. How do I get ahold of someone if I have three white widow auto that didn’t germinate?
