I keep reptiles and actually, the temperatures will work together, so there’s no reason why you can’t grow in the spare room.

@JDS1972 that’s awesome I’m gunna have to reactivate my Amazon lol might be a dumb question but with the grow tent would it still have to be in a closet or can i just have it in the room that’s heated all the time?

You can control your temperatures pretty well with the fan in the tent and outside of the tent in the carbon filters will suck the heat out also
Yes, you can put the tent right in the room. No need for a closet.

Mine sits on my dresser in my bedroom, in any room temperature location with fresh air would be fine. @Hogmaster is right, Walmart does sell tents online, but you would have to buy you’re exhaust fan and lighting separately

I think you’re better off buying things separately. It will be cheaper that way. Those giant kits are always overpriced and you don’t get what you really want.

I agree, mine came with a China led that I hadn’t heard any positive reviews of, and a month after I got it, replaced it with a viparspectra 450 which seems to be perfect for my size tent. If you buy separately, you can get better equipment.

Slightly changing the subject but how many plants can I get away with in a 4x4 flower tent? I’ll be running a 600w hps. Seven gallons fabric pots with ocean forest and ff nutes. Also planning to try out scrog for the first time. @Hogmaster @dbrn32

@Myfriendis410 lol I definitely will be posting pictures! I’m excited to start and have everyone helping because the only growers I know personally are a couple cousins and uncles who grow in the woods and just let nature take it’s course lol but I don’t have that option where I live and being cold out still.

@dbrn32 I had a chat with my hub and he said he’d be fine with me having a grow tent in the snake room and I think temp will be better controlled and ventilation will be easier seeing as there’s a window right in the corner where I’ll be setting up. As soon as I get the money to order everything I’ll be setting it up before ordering seeds of course. I plan on growing two different strains and I haven’t ordered any hardware yet only because I wanted opinions on my choices. I tend to research things a lot before actually doing it and like the help of others and luckily I found all of y’all lol
I grow other plants so I’m assuming you start them out planted in small starters and replant them as they grow? Should I plant both kinds together or separately?
