Newbe to growing

Hello new to growing… been a passion and a want for a long time but until now its been illegal. Any way I’m growing in a 36x18x51 inch cabinet, 600watt led light, 6" 198 exhaust fan, 4 inch intake humidifier which i have both on top of the cabinet exhaust going off one side and the intake going off the other side right by my front door to get fresh outside air and a heater on an ink bird thermostat that im not sure it reads right… i also have a bluetooth thermometer and hygrometer and they are not even close in temp. So the problem is I can’t seem to get the heat and humidity to level off. So lights on it fluctuates between 75-82 with humidity 50%-83% the whole time lights are on. 18/6 light cycle. At dark cycle temp 68-72% and humidity 60%-77%. I adjust intake and exhaust fan all day long to try to level it off but end up either adjust too much or not enough. I am kinda neurotic about certain things and this being one of them. The plants i believe are some kind of indica because of the shape of the leaves. Just wondering am I being too neurotic? Plants seem to look healthy. Oh and 1 is 10days old and the other is 11 days old. Both are in ffof with 1 having natures living soil concrete in it. Any ideas how to regulate the environment better. Thank u in advance

If you can put your cabinet in a spot that is easier to control the variables, ie closet, or bedroom. Sitting by the door isn’t a good spot! They look good so obviously the conditions must be OK. You will need to get RH down in flower. In FFOF you shouldn’t need to feed for a while. If your light is a blurple LED it probably isn’t 600w, you would need to check label or put “Kil O Watt” tester on it!

Not sure or not if I am seeing some purple stems. If so might need some magnesium. I’ve seen this too if you use the “Chinese blurple” (purple) lights.

IMHO maybe you’re over stressing the temp and humidity. I too have a Bluetooth monitor here’s screenshots from minutes ago short and while daily periods.

Hello thanks for the advice. I have to keep it in the same room but I did have it on a different wall away from the door and it was actually worse as far as control. I live in az and it is warmer than most places and dry. We just got our first rain in almost 10 months. And as far as the light goes… im just starting to really learn about led grow lights it got alot of reds a few blue, 2 ir and 2 green. It is a cheap Chinese. Actual power is 102 watts. How much do u know about led grow lights?

I am no expert but I can figure out if you are going to have enough and what types would be best for your area, and what you want to do with it As stated dbrn is the man for the best advice and I have used his suggestions numerous times

Imo it will be nearly impossible to keep a space that small at constant environmental setpoints. Running around 80f lights on is pretty good though if you can keep vpd in line. 10-15 degree drop during lights off is pretty normal too.

What is model of light?

Whats a good light for 2 plants thats not a million dollars…lol. something 150-200… still learning about lighting. What r some of the things to look for in a good grow light.

Not a lot available specifically for that size space. I built mine, I will have to look around some.

What should I be looking for as far as a good light

You’re in a 36"x 18"x 55" right? Plan ahead I would say in case you go to a tent or bigger area. Under 300. I use a Mars Hydro TSL they’re under 300. So close to your budget. It puts out good specs on Amazon, chart of tech details… HLG is great but out of your budget as they’re more money… Get a light that pulls at least 300 watts from wall…

Awesome thanks for the info. Have u had good luck with that light? Have you heard of this company? Or this light??
