I just received a 315 W CMH light and installed it in my flower tent (2x3) I have the light at the highest height possible. My girl is about 6 weeks into bloom. I watered her this morning and noticed that the RH was at 16% and Temp was 38C. I have a clip on fan blowing inside tent and 4" ventilation system pulling in air and exhausting air into my charcoal filter. The top of my girl is about 5" from the light. Take it this is too close because some of the top leaves and buds are cooking. I put my hand between the light and plant and although warm it’s not super hot. Since the light is at it’s highest height what can I do. Is bending my girl the answer or is she too far into bloom to stress her out. Should I just go back to my LED light and wait to use this light on my next grow? Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll need quite a bit more ventilation with the 315 in that small of a tent. And your rh tanked.
Might be easier to finish this one with the led and get your space prepped for the next one with the cmh.

It’s based on your space size and heat load.
Not sure on the formula but a good 6 in should work.

I soak two “frogger” towels in water and hang over a pvc pipe in my tent and that helps my 4x4x6 humidity immensely. frogger
I also turn off the air exchange / carbon scrubber ventilation off for a couple of hours if the RH is real low. Also - run a humidifier in the room that your grow tent is in - not in your grow tent. Increase air flow in the tent with more fans while carbon scrubber off. Good luck!
