Happy St Paddy’s Day! They both look really, really good. I have heard 84 days is a good rule of thumb for autos, but thats just a baseline of 3 weeks veg and 9 weeks flower. 12 weeks total. Could be more, rarely less, depending on when they flip themselves to flower and the strain’s average flower time. I start checking trichomes on lower flowers at 7 weeks into flower. I’m at day 86 in my auto grow and I have one that is ready, another two are close, and three that have a few weeks left. It’s tough not to chop early in the beginning. We all wanted to, lol.

QUESTION:
Would changing the light from 18-6 over to 24 hours on be harmful in any way, or would it be better for yield weight?

I run 20/4 and haven’t seen any negatives but i also keep the DLI right at 45. I’ma first time grower though so i haven’t had the pleasure of much experimentation.

Did 12/12 and have no regrets, this set of autos look great as well. We won’t be changing anything recipe wise for a few grows.
Will try 18/6 spring run to see the difference.

I have found that the docu series done by build-a-soil on YouTube is a great resource. The have like 4 seasons seed to harvest in every type of situation you can think of. I mimic that style of growing. Super forgiving and I’m getting amazing results
