New Millennium Winter Frost

I have searched regarding anyones experiences with Winter Frost. I’ve found a lot of people who tried it, but not much follow up as to whether it was beneficial or not.
I have about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks to go on this crop, I’ve used nothing but AN Connoisseur Coco Bloom so this would be a good test subject.
I just started with the recommended dosage of Winter Frost with no Nutrients at all and after 5 days of feeding Winter Frost, I will do water flush for the next week or so after that until harvest.
I’ll add pictures to verify any benefits, if any.

I cannot really say alot about it. It did bring on more tricks but I had issues with the plant I used it on lol. Says works best with the ruby fulvic stuff but great alone I’ll b watching. Seems like good stuff it did make for less white pistils on the plant when everyday I had a ton of new whites after the first dose of winter frost I had like half the amount of whites

I used it on one grow so far. I’d say it did definitely bring on some more trichomes faster. I didn’t get the fade I wanted. But buds was super sticky and tasty

Trying to get the same photo to capture any improvements. Funny, when I first opened the tent up, I thought Wow, I think I see some improvements. After closely trying to compare the 2 photos I really don’t see anything changing.
Lol

I have a bottle but have not tried it yet, will do with my Gelato grow when I get close to harvest time.

Day 3 of using Winter Frost, I’m only going 5 days of Winter Frost, then I will Flush by watering with water only until day of harvest.
This is their recommendation for Coco Coir grow.

So far, I’m not seeing much of anything changing, but we will see.

Day 4. No visible benefit. I guess I was expecting at least something of a noticeable benefit in trichomes size or density. Not seeing anything like that.

It’s quite possible I didn’t read this, and formed my expectations based on the name of the product alone.
So it is also quite possible this is a beneficial product, it’s just that I was looking to see something altogether different than what it actually does.

What were you expecting to see? I have never used the product, yet always intrigued, if it doesn’t turn out to be yet another snake oil.
I would interpret that as a chemically induced stress response to simulate end of life to the plant, hence trichome/oil production and color change due to the plant consuming itself.

I was hoping for it to cause my plants to frost up more. I don’t know if I was expecting more trichomes to show up or maybe for them to swell up and appear like there are more. I don’t know.

Might still get there…if your only 4 days in.
This is from their site, so maybe expectations are a little premature to see results.
“Use Winter Frost as a pre – flush the last 5 – 7 days of the flowering cycle before you start flushing for 7 – 10 days .”

That’s the plan, 5 days then water only.

I’ll still follow through with updated photos. On to flushing until harvest. It appears to have kickstarted the leaves into being used up and changing color.

I forgot to post a photo yesterday.
I don’t know if it’s from the Winter Frost, but the flowers are heavy, they are all falling over, every day I go in and wire them up so they stand back up, but every morning, they’re falling over again.
I have started water only. As I was with feedings, still watering to about 25% runoff.
I only used AN Coco Connoisseur Bloom Until the start of week 8 where I used Winter Frost for 5 days and now am flushing water only until harvest (somewhere around week 10) keep in mind I don’t count days of flowering until I actually see a flower started.

If that top pic is the same bud (as it looks), its looks bulkier from a bystander perspective.

Yes, I’m trying to get the same shot every day.
They really are fattening up, I can see the Girth, that’s right Girth with a capital G.
If I’ve learned anything from this little experiment was to pick one plant to not use it on. I’m 60 and it’s been a while since I’ve had any science classes.
Maybe I’ll resurrect this thread on my next grow, which just got flipped to 12/12
