New growth where yellow fan leaves are

My plants are flowering and I’m getting the expected yellow fan leaves. Where they are located I’m getting new growth. Shall I also be removing the new growth?

I always pull off those bottom feeders.

I take those off too. Gather enough of them and carefully dry them and you can get a little taste before harvest. Of course the taste will change some and it will get stronger as the good buds mature but it’s not a terrible thing.
Or throw them away.
