New growth is wilting

Using Coast of Maine Super Soil and natures living soil together. Have her in a 5 gal air pot watering with em1 and a compost tea mixture every watering. Have a 1500 watt LED light. My issue is the plant as a h whole looks fine just some of the new growth here and there are wilted and real soft feeling. I can’t figure out what is wrong.

What are your temps? And check the distance of your lights.Maybe tag an experienced grower,@kellydans

Was it a sudden growth spurt I find such quick growth makes the top leaves sag for a few days as the plant regains her energy

I am running humidity at 60 and temps are 72 to 78 with light and 69 with light off. I just transplanted into a 10 gal pot had roots coming out of the top soil.

It’s been like that for a week or so. I just transplanted into a 10 gal had roots growing out of the top of soil.

Transplant will always slow down growth and cause adverse effects but how close Is your light( what’s the par that she’s getting)

Did you water her after transplanting. The new soil will wick any moisture away from the rootball

The second picture over all plant looks pretty good. The first picture. My first thoughts would be how often are you water and how much.

My light is 24" for top of canopy. The light reading is 1200 luman. I only have a 3 way meter.

Welp I think we found the problem those meters totally fail at reading ph in fact they’re only good for the moisture meter your water ph is probably way to high

Thank you for the help I will get a good meter today and check PH of soil. I have a digital PH meter for my water. I set it at 7 before watering.

That’s way to high shoot for 6.5 in soil

That sounds reasonable , it’s a good practice to get a feel of the weight by picking up the pots when dry, and after watering. As time goes on specially flowering stage they will take more water.

Appreciate it.

I am using living soil. Everything that I have read says I do not need to worry about my PH. That is why I have not really been checking it but from now on I will make my water 6.5 before applying. Also the wilted leaves a nice and green but feels soft not dried out and they curl downward. I just watered with 1 gal of spring water.

Doesn’t do any harm to check your pH, if nothing else it gives you an idea of what’s happening in your soil, that way if you start to get problems you have a starting point :sunglasses:
