My first couple of grows in a 4 X 6 space used 1,320 watts of China blurples and grew outstanding flower. But I paid a price in electricity costs. I ended up building my own fixtures and the first month in the grow space my electricity bill went down $60! Using less than half the electricity I was before and getting outstanding yields (average 12 oz per plant).
What I do have a problem with is deceptive marketing, which Mars Hydro, Vivosun etc. used to sell lights. As a result I do not trust anything that is written claiming performance values. I recommend HLG because they have not done this and in fact publish third party spherical light data to support their product.
Having a testimonial from a grower like yourself though; goes a long way!
