Sounds good I’ll keep updating this thread as the journey continues
Did you read what I said about my DLI?
I dont use meters! lol
Ahh ok lol
The only meter I use is PH.
Update: woke up this morning and all of the seedlings have started to poke out of the dirt. I was scared that I may of put them in too deep so last night I brushed away a tiny bit of the soil that was on top. I think it was the right move. It took around 36 hours for the seedlings to emerge and I think that’s the most anxiety filled wall. Posted a pic of the one that’s making the most progress so far, but the others are well on their way! Will probs post another updated pic later tonight where they should all have made some more progress. May have a little bit of helmet head on two of them but hopefully they fall off on their own
youll worry yourself sick with your first grow… rollercoaster of emotions. This time next year youll have a few under your belt. Dont be scared to ask questions, get ready for constructive critisism ( i always welcome constructive criticism ), and always ask questions!
Very true lol and yeah that’s why I’m here always open to feedback if there’s anything you think I should be doing different based off of what I’ve said so far let me know !
Sprout looks great. You dont need to water for a few days. That soil looks very wet.
Its incredibly hard to underwater and kill cannabis. I let a sprout go 21 days without watering and it was fine. The soil was watered before I planted the seed but not after for 3 weeks.
Yeah I wasn’t planning on it. I did a pre soak and misted the top twice but I’ll leave it be for now. Will send more pics later
This was day 21 when it finally looked sad. Perked right up after watering but you can see how much it grew during the three weeks with zero water after sprouting.
Day 14 no water nice and happy
Not recommending you do this, but it just illustrates that we dont need to worry so much about underwatering new plants.
Yeah that plant looks very healthy at day 14. So as long as I keep my humidity high, would you recommend to not even mist the top or anything of the sort?
I just let them be. No misting or whatever. That tap root and side roots grow incredibly fast. It doesn’t need water from the top.
Sounds good I just put them to bed for 6 hours. Here’s the pics of the rest of them. All looking good so far. I helped two of them a little shed their seed casings, and honestly felt like a pro with how well I was able to do it. This is where things start getting fun
Update: it’s been about 60 hours ( two and a half days) since these seedlings have sprouted out of the soil. I think they are all lookin good so far here is an updated pic you can zoom in. Can anyone give me an idea of how they are looking for the time that they’ve been out of the soil?
Looks good #4 looks like it might be stretching (needs more light).
Be careful not to over water at this point, I was guilty of that myself. They don’t need a whole lot right at this moment.
What are your temps/humidity?
