I’ll probably do after the next watering from the top and let it dry out first before laying some down.
Spray any good pesticide you trust in the water that’s left in the trays after watering. When it sucks it up it will kill them

I just planted some water germinated auto bubblegum plants . what light spectrum do I use until they sprout out of the soil.

No light is needed till they sprout out of soil and then more blue is preferred once they pop up.
What light ir lights do you have as options?
