New grower filled with concern

Hey,
I’m working with a gavita 1700
Space is 10x10
I have carbon filter with 12’ duct fan
I’m growing on 7 gallon buckets using a dwc system
I’m using the flora trio line with a few supplements.

Is my first time growing so I’m super unsure of everything, For some reason my plants stared developing some funny brown and yellow dots that eventually stared expanding but the root growth was normal so I let it be, but I messed up and tried to mainline them too soon from what I’ve read. Now I’m not sure if my plants are dying or if they are going to make it and I haven’t pinpointed the root to the problem. Here are some reference pictures.

Welcome!

I don’t see ph, ppm, or temperature of your solution, which is probably where your problems start. We can help more if you fill out support ticket my partner Covertgrower posted above.

-Age of plant/what week of flower : 3 week veg
-Method: Hydroponics
-Vessels: Buckets
-PH and TDS of Water: I was at 6.2. now I’m at 5.8. Idk the tds.
-PPM/TDS or EC no idea
-Method used to measure PH and TDS: Ph pen.
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space: indoor 10x10.
-Light system LED
-Actual wattage draw of lights: idk but is rated at 1,000w
-Current Light Schedule : 24h
-Temps; Day, Night: low 80 on average
-Humidity; Day, Night 50 on average
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size : yes 12in duct fan with carbon filter
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,: I have a humidifier and I had a ac but I took the ac off because it was drying the room out too much. I’m currently looking for a good option. Recommendations are welcomed.
-Co2; No

If growing Hydro some additional questions:

-DWC
-Distance of liquid below net pot idk but I would like to say 3ft plus
-Temperature of reservoir low 80 as well
-TDS of nutrient solution no idea
-Amount of air to solution no idea

You have to know this to grow hydro.

Never seen a 1,000 watt LED fixture.

Likely a waste of electricity at this point. 18/6 would be fine.

Um, what? Distance below net pot should be 1 1/2 to 2 inches.

This is bad. Temps over 70F will be at high risk for botrytis and the nutrient solution can’t carry the dissolved O needed in the root zone.

Are you running an air stone in each bucket? Plants will drown without air.

Buy a TDS meter, dude. You have nute burn, root issues etc. that will kill your plants. If your nutrient solution is at 80F you need to find a way to bring it down below 70F. Add air to each bucket with as much air as you can.

Sorry for the late reply, it’s my first time using a forum as well… btw thank you guys for taking ya time and I really appreciate it. I just bought the ppm pen so I’m going to get that sorted today. I will always switch the light cycle from 24 to 18/6. The distance between the netpot and the water is correct I just miss understood the question.I’m also going to buy a ac tomorrow, I’m going to try to keep the room at 70 something and that can hopefully help me regulate the water temperature more… btw I do have good air stones and decent pumps… but I have every bucket set independently no reservoir… btw what ppm should I go for or ec tbh I have no idea what it is.

Thanks again guys.

I also took the EC reading and they are at 1.2 on average. My water temperature seems to keep rising is now at 87 so I’m going to buy a ac today and switch the light cycle to 18/6. I’m going to make some PH balanced water ice to try to bring the temperature down today and Lights off from 12am-6am and I was also wondering how I should set up the duct fan extractor I have the controller as well but idk how I should set it up. Should I try to circulate the air every certain time, should I do it when is a certain humidity or temperature?
