New to growing, got my seeds got some Fox farm soil and pH lower I got my humidity where I think it needs to be in my temperature where it needs to be. Just would like any hope that I can. I’m retiring in 6 months and want my buds ready for that!

Congrats on the sprouts Growmie. Do you have a TDS pen for checking nutrient mixtures and run off coming up in several weeks? :love_you_gesture:

no, can you guide me to where to get these? I am, using bergmans nutrients for seedlings now

misting and checking for ph and moisture

Are you growing them in a tent if so your light is barely enough for 2 plants but great for 1 plant during flower you need almost 100watts per plant

right now in a closet with reflective insulation , willing to spend as much as I need , but dont want to spend if my green thumb is brown.

Lot of people say you need to buy an expensive ph meter but this one i use is mid range it does ph and tds works fine.

TDS and PH pens can be purchased through Amazon. I have an Apera 20 PH and Blue Lab TDS both very reliable and accurate. For now keep the seedlings covered with a clear dome, plastic bag etc. the leafs will absorb the condensation inside the domes until the roots start feeding. Keep an eye on the soil dryness and water about a shot glass every other day. I keep them covered for 12-14 days then I transplant to 3 gallon fabric pots. Lighting size will depend on grow space and plant count. Figure about 40 watts per plant and that’s watts draw from the wall, be careful there’s a lot of cheap lighting manufacturers out there grossly misrepresenting the power. Check out HLG lights :love_you_gesture:

Vivosun 1000 works well in my veg tent (24/0). Clearly not the power needed for flower.
@Ralph732, Congratulation on your pending retirement. My 25/35 USN year party had 3 invites (two people showed for ten minutes, COVID shut it down). This hobby will be very interesting. The forum support and learning opportunity are worth more than can be stated. You will need to learn and master all phases of growing. Good Growing to you. More grow requires money for more equipment and will take your retirement check (justifiably).

Congrats on your sprouting girls. You don’t need any nutes yet if using ff. That soil has you covered for 5 to 6 weeks.
