My most recent watering was overwatering meanwhile the temps dropped. Nice combination.
Did some tinkering got the temps up to 16C/dark. Lifted about a foot off floor. More wind speed. Best case now is they take off within couple days and I lose a week’s growth.

What’s up with your soil? Is it a top dress?

Wood shavings from sawmill. Just as mulch

Does it help? I don’t know about everyone else but I always end up with settling in my pots. About a 2”-4” area not full with medium. I usually just put a couple hand fulls of coco coir on top. It looks nice and maybe deters bugs :person_shrugging:t5: having that layer before my soil. Are they Cedar chips? That might help with bugs as well as I think there naturally bug resistant?

Looking good either way! :love_you_gesture:t5:

It’s quite mixed hard and softwoods, but no cedar, we dont process that much. My plan is keeping topsoil moist and reduce watering

503 by any chance taken from a legendary skidoo engine…? What I think everytime I see the number 503

No not from the sled. But cool info to know!

I used to get too much settling also, and I know I was filling the pots too loose, not packing down enough thinking loose soil good for roots right, like my garden seems to… anyway I pat down a little bit now and instead of losing two inches I might only lose one inch through a grow

The relocate is done. Ever put up a 4x4 in a 50" closet with 36" door? Traumatizing. Trim might go back on, not priority. Cut hole in celing, run out my exhaust to attic (window) and now running open intake to living room.

Then coiled up about 15’ of duct above tent and the other 25’ on the attic floor. Looks like a forklift accident in a tuba factory.

Started to perk up and grow a few days ago, seems like weeks they didn’t grow, and a bit yellow still. Probably gonna lose the other two.

New crop of autos! Said that before… this morning I got a sprout above ground. Direct sown autoflower, my first. Also one in paper towel the same day, it’s tail is 1/8" long and will be planted probably tonight or tomorrow. I’ll post pics later today they should be more photogenic.
Should have been named Purple Amnesia Auto, but somebody probably already owns that name. Purple Ruderalis X Amnesia Auto according to the card that came with them.

A little back ground on the custom square planters please and thank you.

Whats in them? The smaller 1x1 running vertical, was that done that way to increase the overall size of the planters? How are the bottoms done to assist in drainage and holding the medium in?

You keep a clean house. Nice.

Love me some autos, fixing to do 2022-23 seed drop my self.

Pine boards, I bring home rejects from work and edge them, I run them through a table saw got the bark edges off and got around 9" so the pots are 10" inside, about 15" tall. I forget exactly but ended up about 6 gals, probably 5.5gal of soil. Five 1/2" holes on bottom and 8 holes around the bottom of sides, might see if zoomed in. Plus they leak out the seams if I water too fast. Worked good on a previous grow and the walls inside are full of life, but they were about 10gal, I dont want to spend that much on soil now.
