I admire your set up i was thinking of doing a similar one for letus and kail . how big is the res … is their enough water if the power goes out for a few days that they don’t dry out… its one of the things that has stopped me from going that route

Thank you friend , The Reservoir is 17 gallon. Each trough holds approximately 5 gallons each depending on how high the return tubes are raise. Keeping oxygen in the water and circulation are the biggest concern with power outages, I can raise the return tube keep water in trough and have a backup battery air pump 3 way valve with air lines and stones I drop in the troughs , and for circulation I just dump fresh water in the trough and pull some out of reservoir periodically, luckily I don’t have too many outages , can be a hassle to keep up when power is out , but we’ll worth the benefit of speedy growth
