Hello all, BigJ back in action
Took a break to handle some family business and work has had me crazy with chaotic hours due to the weather !! I’m back. Work still crazy, but I’m gonna try to pop in on a regular basis with updates on a couple of crosses I made during my hiatus, first one up is purple mystery wreck , she is a cross of Mendocino purps wreck and a mystery fem I had , seems to be a very vigorous grower. Seeds popped after 24 hrs and within 72 were above ground and shucking there helmets. Second cross made is sundae smash which is the cross between Mendocino purps wreck and ice cream cake #5 , she was a little slower to germinate closer to 72 hrs and roughly another 72 hrs to break surface and start to shed helmet, so far so good , both crosses are growing nicely, I have 2 in hydro for an additional cross and 2 in small dirt pots that will be transferred over to bubble buckets after pollenation of the others .one set for cross one set for smoke . Mystery is a genetic mystery, no info. Mendocino purps wreck came from humboldt, and icc#5 was a lucky find from a testing lab. (clone only) . Mendo wreck produced some very nice hard as a rock frosty nugs.pine, earth, skunk and peppery Mystery fairly dense descent size very frosty and fruity skunk , icc#5 very solid plant, nice dense nugs very frosty ,smells of skunk citrus and almost berry and vanilla, Mendo wreck was reversed using colloidal silver and used to pollenate mystery and icc , and the adventures begin. Lol

Awesome, how do I add/tag to watch.? Never done that before. I love watching seed crosses myself. I will be watching this thread for sure.

Thank you. And no problem, love seeing the other crosses also. I have about 11 or 12 more I’m working on now … I plan to post here also when I finish and run them. That’s a nice looking plant you have going my friend…Should be tab bottom of the screen under topic controls set it to watching
Figured I’d put these in being that 2 of these ladies are being preserved and the others are getting hit with pollen for some new crosses. Top 2 plants to the left are Perma Dream, strain being preserved one purple one green. , top right is icc #5 , middle plant left side would be romulan grapefruit, left side bottom plant would be Jamaican grape haze, lower right is Mendocino purps wreck after reveg. Didn’t plan on keeping this one going but she took back off and is a little bush.

Nice looking, I love the Romulan grapefruit. Romulan is not one I see much anymore these days. It’s one I smoked a lot back in the early 2000s. Is it your own line? I never see it around anymore.
I got tired of seeding big plants so i switched to Bansai clones to pollinate in the winter. Then I run my crops outdoor for buds. I have kept my keeper Bansai clone ladies for about 12-13 years now. I am ruthless at selection. I have also been keeping keeper males the last 6-7 seasons. I find males jems are fewer and far between so I decided to keep some. Ha.
What are you using for pollen this time? CS fems or regs?
This round CS FEMS. everything popped up female and the Perma Dream was the main concern. Last 2 seeds I had and happen to pop 2 different phenos. One purple one green. Got couple clone of each set aside , im going to reverse the purple and let the pollen fly , so beside the crosses I’ll have purple selfed and purple pollenated green for mixed pheno. I have couple green clones set aside to do a green run. Romulan is one a buddy of mine bought way back when he could get it , got regular seeds , hunted for some good keepers and made some reg seeds , this particular romulan, he popped and had some equipment issues and had to shut things down , so I acquired romulan, Jamaican grape haze and an icc #5 clone to add to the list. 2 of the trough plants are new crosses f1 , that I made and will be hit with Perma Dream to make things interesting, I also have a couple separate smoke to try out and see if it was worth the time. Lol
Thank you friend, been a little struggle at first. Has some calmag issues , so couple got some leaf damage. Other than that cranking along. Small tent pants are same strains and same age as the trough hydro, sad pet is that I had put the runts/smaller of the strains in the troughs. It’s amazing how fast they grow in hydro, especially when you get that water just right
Ive tried with CS and the pollen was no good the CS was 50ppm and she did turn had bananas but no dice have you encountered this problem. I like to …well Im going to attempt my first pheno hunt for a good girl … and if she’s worthy id like to back cross her
No issues so far ,I soaked them …couple times a day. First time used 60ppm CS, now I have some 1000ppm CS , first time was slow and at first I wasn’t sure… I had late start to treating it , then one day they were everywhere, continued to spray it for a couple weeks. To make sure. I sprayed whole plant,
