How much liquid if any is there when you start?

I feel so lost. I’ve been watching kanuck on YouTube all morning and am considering busting out my wife’s straighteners and making dab hits

I think after reading the one you posted with the blog @Caligurl has, I’ll get a whole ton of good info. It wouldn’t hurt to start getting a good idea of what goes into different concentrates for edibles. Thanks growmie

No worries I am too but I already know I’m going to be happy …so if you try the QWET and just follow either of those
Decarb before if you wanna make edibles

Thats what I have to wait for to evap lol not much longer and decided to use the flat blade of an exacto knife sterilized of course
That should scrape out at least one gram I hope

Try dropping it in the freezer for a little bit, I put my silicone bowl in there, I find it makes the mostly evaporated material a little brittle and in a few cycles I can get it corralled into a blob and into a silicone dab cup.

Well, I use the Source Turbo now. I let it eval down to the consistency of corn syrup. You can add a tiny amount of Everclear back in, stir it around really well and then put it in your container and let it evaporate all the way from there.
You can also do a second wash on the material. When I use buds or good larf, I actually do 3 washes. You just get a little less out each time but you also have to use less Everclear each time because the material is breaking down.

I honestly think I scraped it closer to when you described…like corn syrup
And judging by your pencil sized gram pic I may have gotten a little over 2 grams first wash …
So my plan now would be to do the other trim
Then combine the leftovers of both and do a wash to get both their resin combined and maybe get a third different effect??
Am I thinking wrong or would that work?

I’m wondering if it will be easier to weigh cold before using in the chocolates
Prob not my ideas never go too far hahah
I tried to use an identical jar as tare weight
But when the other with the product goes on the scale it’s 2 grams lighter than the one without hahaha
The jars prob are not exact
Next time I’ll tare the jar I’m actually using
Ughhh hate being a noob dammit
And Jesus I had herb in these little jars before and didn’t clean em out good
Oh well I won’t mind a burnt red hair in my chocolates
